PROJECT EVIE
This project was carried out during the Pandemic of 2020, and meant additional challenges had to be overcome. Most of the decisions we had to make for the client, or via FaceTime calls which added to the difficulties. When the clients were finally able to come and see the project in the flesh, they were overwhelmed with love, much to our relief!
The project comprised of completely changing the layout of this 1 bedroom apartment, to create a 2 bedroom guest apartment. Working with a small space meant we had to be creative in our design, including using false walls to allow clever storage and taking space which wasn’t required in some rooms to allow other rooms to be bigger.
To bring this apartment up to modern standards with did; new bathroom including updating all the plumping, kitchen, windows, electrics, and aircon throughout. Plus new flooring, plastering the walls to remove the old stippled affect, wardrobes and doors to match and false ceilings to add lighting. We also ran water and drainage to the additional storage room on the side of the apartment, to allow this to come a utility room.
Finally we assisted the owner with furniture, window dressings, decoration and TV/internet solutions.
We think this apartment has had a dramatic change and now offers a beautiful living space to match the stunning views.
