When the owners of this villa brought the property the villa was newly built but there were things that needed to be finished and others that needed to be addressed. As a new modern build this brought its challenges, but of course with perserverance we overcame them all. Works that were carried out; Imitation wood decking was already used in some areas of the garden, therefore we sourced the same material to add an extra small "gin and tonic" terrace, extended the area around the pool to allow a bigger space for sunbathing and dining.
The main terraces by the house were taken up and a re waterproofing was laid underneath to ensure no water could get into the house. The garden was completely landscaped by the assistance of one of our gardeners and his team, including fruit trees, cactus garden and beautiful flowers that will bloom throughout the year. Exterior lighting and an irrigation system were insulated to compliment the new garden. The Santanyi stone on the house was given a specialised clean and then protected against the weather and sea air. Automatic blinds were installed to give some much needed shade from the hot summer sun, and also some privacy. New motors were installed on the parking gates and an intercom system installed to allow the owners to see who was coming to visit!
Internally: The demotics (smart electrics) were designed around the old owner and how he was going to use the house, so this was re programmed to fit in with the new owners. Extra lights are installed over the empty lift shaft to allow more ambience, beautiful log burning stove for those cold winter nights. The underfloor heating was serviced and connected up in areas where it wasn’t working. An additional room was given a new lease of life with beautiful Mallorquin inspired tiles, to add character to an empty space. The house was then filled with the owners own furniture brand from Denmark, which added a beautiful modern but rustic finished to this already stunning house.
